An easy itinerary, suitable for everyone that will allow you to get to know the area from another perspective.
After meeting the guide and collecting the bike we leave from Castellammare and will travel along country roads in a mix of wild stretches and endless rows of vineyards.
We will arrive at the castles of Inici and Baida of which unfortunately only a few ruins remain. We will continue up to the village of Visicari and immediately afterwards, downhill with breathtaking views, up to the village of Scopello, a delightful village that develops around an ancient 17th century baglio, now home to cafes, shops and boutiques. From the viewing area, which dominates the entire gulf, we will enjoy the view of the tuna fishery located on a cove guarded by two sea stacks.

Baglio seicentesco circondato da poche case addossate, con una piazzetta lastricata, con vista mozzafiato su i faraglioni.

Il Castello di Baida fu edificato probabilmente verso la fine del XIII secolo e successivamente ampliato. Rimangono poche tracce delle antiche strutture, ad esempio i torrioni, le mura, una chiesetta e un portale.

Il castello (ruderi) era luogo di sosta per chi si dirigeva verso Trapani o verso Palermo. Nel XVII secolo, i Gesuiti presero possesso del castello che allargarono la proprietà con un secondo cortile, stalle e magazzini.
