You will have the chance to take care of the abandoned and stray dogs and cats of Sao Vicente Island. We always need a hand in our shelter which has more than 70 dogs and 20 cats. We offer you a unique opportunity to fill your trip with love as well as introduce you to every aspect of the Cape Verde Islands. You will be able to walk the shelter dogs, accompany needy animals to the clinic, play with the puppies and thus get them used to human contact, cuddle the cats and help us out in the hostel (the proceeds of which go 100% for the animals). We are waiting for you!
