The islet of Cabras is the largest islet in the Azores, located 3.5 nautical miles from the city of Angra do Heroísmo, this is an important nesting area for several species of seabirds and in turn a Portegida Area. Route Taking a route similar to an “8” around the islet, between the approximately 120 meter gap that divides the islet, we can observe its entire volcanic structure and also learn a little about its history.
