Visit to the Nymph of the Lucchina, Rome

In 2016, the restoration works by the Superintendency of Archaeological Heritage of Rome brought to light a new underground site: the Nymphaeum of Lucchina. We will take you to discover this ancient corner of paradise in the Ottavia area, originally a burial place, it became a bathing place, a search for otium and relaxation, reserved for a high social class fleeing the chaos of the city and looking for of silence. Characterized by well-preserved frescoed walls and a beautiful floor mosaic perfectly preserved and accessible through a small door leaning against a small hill, the fascinating and mysterious entrance to the site will awaken the curiosity and imagination of even the little ones.
