Description
In general, the area combined with many rivers and streams, especially during the winter months, forced the construction of bridges.
The golden age of Zagori allowed rich families to finance expensive and sometimes unsuccessful projects linking villages.
Today, about 60 bridges are saved in a very large state and there are testimonies of another hundred that have been destroyed.
