Tomar Convent of Christ Private Day Tour from Lisbon

The fabulous monumental complex of the Convent of Christ in Tomar is made up of a Templar castle to which was added a convent that over time grew in grandeur thanks to the contributions of the various monarchs who built new spaces there, enriched and embellished the complex with works of art and even endowed it with a majestic three-storey aqueduct 6 km long. The nine cloisters of the Convent of Christ rival the largest convents in the world. The Monument has been classified as a World Heritage Site since 1983.
