Description
The Correale di Terranova museum, immersed in a garden of oranges and lemons, is a treasure chest full of treasures of incomparable beauty.
Inside it houses several collections of various kinds ranging from inlay to Neapolitan painting from the 16th to the 18th, from works by the Flemish school to porcelain.
Starting from the founders' room, the counts Alfredo and Pompeo Correale, we will visit the Sorrento inlay room, then move on to the archaeological section, which exhibits artifacts found in Sorrento and nearby cities.
With this tour you will retrace the history of Sorrento and relive the daily life of the eighteenth-century nobles, surrounded by fine furnishings and incredible beauty.
Not to be missed: the largest collection of Posillipo school in the world today and a walk on the terrace of the villa overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
