Before setting off, you can choose to dress up in a fun costume, adding an extra layer of excitement and making your experience even more memorable. Once on the road, follow your guide through some of Tokyo’s most famous areas, including the vibrant streets of Harajuku, the world-renowned Shibuya Crossing, continue into the energetic heart of Shinjuku, and surrounding central Tokyo neighborhoods. Please note that participants must bring hard-copy International Driving Permit issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention or other approved licenses in accordance with Japanese law. “All tours are operated in full compliance with Japanese laws and regulations and follow guidelines confirmed by the relevant local government authorities.”

For driving licenses issued from France, Switzerland, Taiwan, Germany, Monaco, and Belgium, you need a JAPANESE TRANSLATION of your local license. You can obtain the physical copy from JAF office (Japan Automobile Federation).

Online copy or any digital copy of your permits are NOT valid.
Driving permits from Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Kuwait, Qatar, and some countries are NOT ALLOWED to drive in Japan, please check if your country issues the 1949 Geneva Convention Permits.
