Visita uno dei templi più importanti di Chiang Mai, Wat Chedi Luang. Si trova nell'antica parte murata della città. Wat Chedi Luang è anche conosciuto come Jedi Luang e "Il Tempio del Grande Stupa", che inizialmente consisteva in altri due templi chiamati Wat Ho Tham e Wat Sukmin, che furono tutti fusi in uno solo. La sua caratteristica più importante è il massiccio e davvero impressionante chedi (pagoda) che domina l'area. Il chedi fu ordinato dal re Saen Muang Ma di custodire le ceneri di suo padre.
