From sipping on the iconic Makgeolli (Korean rice wine) to savoring the delightful Jeon (savory pancakes), every moment spent here offers an extraordinary gastronomic adventure. If you're a daring foodie, try the live octopus, a standout dish famously featured in the movie "Old Boy". Its unique texture and fresh taste create a culinary experience that is both exciting and memorable. Tasting the live octopus offered at the market is a personal choice. And there's more. Get ready to taste four special types of traditional Korean street food, each one a crowd-pleaser at Gwangjang Market. These are not your typical fast food; each dish has a story, every bite is a piece of Korean culture.
