The kayak tours of Chasing Syrens take you into some of the most beautiful locations of this area of the Amalfi Coast. The tours depart from the picturesque beach locality of Marina del Cantone (Massa Lubrense) near Sorrento. The transparent kayak tours are exclusive to this area and will enable you not only to admire the stunning coastline, but to experience an adventure of 360 degrees in the Natural Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella including visits to hidden coves and caves, snorkeling in crystal clear water with the possibility of seeing many different kinds of fish, free time for swimming and relaxing. The highlight is the tour to the Bay of Jeranto. We also provide the tours in normal (non-transparent) kayaks. Each customer will be provided with dry bags and life jackets.

Customers who book the Jeranto Tour will paddle to the splen
Customers who book the Jeranto Tour will paddle to the splendid Bay of Ieranto (Jeranto) which is part of the natural Marine Reserve Punta Campanella and is in the top 3 most picturesque bays of Italy. Very few boats are allowed into the bay and the beach can only be reached by kayak or by hiking from the village of Nerano. The tour takes you round the bay, visiting some spectacular caves and includes a stop for swimming and snorkeling

Meeting point

Chasing Syrens desk is on the beach by the Scoglio restaurant. If you are staying in Sorrento you can catch the SITA bus from Sorrento station to Nerano Marina del Cantone. Approx. journey 45 minutes.

The tours depart from the beach of Marina del Cantone (Nerano) which is 20 km from Sorrento, 26 km from Positano and 9 km from Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. There is a bus service (SITA) from Sorrento to Marina del Cantone (45 minutes approx). By car it takes 30 minutes.
Each double kayak, due to their characteristics, can carry maximum 180 kilos. We can supply normal kayaks if you have concerns about your weight/size but please let us know latest the day before the tour.
Not recommended for the less agile or overweight (max total weight per transparent kayak is 180 kilos).
