Partenze previste tutti i giorni da Piano Provenzana, versante Nord dell’Etna, con speciali automezzi fuoristrada 4×4 di ultimissima generazione, di classe ambientale euro 5 ed euro 6 regolarmente autorizzati dall’Ente Parco dell’Etna. L’escursione verso la zona sommitale, assistita da guide alpine o vulcanologiche autorizzate ai sensi di legge, parte da quota 1.800 metri (Piano Provenzana) e prosegue lungo la strada panoramica che, tra antichi crateri e recenti colate di lava, ci consentirà di raggiungere quota 3.000 metri circa.
