Upon arrival, they’ll join a guided factory tour that walks them through each stage of tea production, from freshly plucked leaves to the finished Ceylon tea ready for packaging. Inside the factory, travelers will see traditional machinery in operation and learn how tea is withered, rolled, fermented, dried, and graded, gaining insight into the craftsmanship and skill behind Sri Lanka’s premium tea industry. Following the tour, guests can relax with a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon tea, enjoying the aroma and flavors while taking in views of the surrounding plantations.
