After a 2 hour ascent, we reach a rocky little summit with a cute chapel where amazing vistas over the mountains of the Mangfallgebirge and the lake await. A short descent brings us to a mountain chalet where we enjoy a well-earned Bavarian lunch. Replenished, we hike back via a panoramic path above the lake that eventually leads us to the shores of lake Tegernsee.
