Description

Learn how to make the famous "Pastel de Nata" from scratch so that you can return home and enjoy the traditional Portuguese pastries totally made by you. In a group activity, you'll take turns participating while enjoying a local wine in a specially designed kitchen with exceptional hosts experienced in teaching and entertainment. Our two spaces are centrally located, one near "São Bento Train Station" and "Ribeira", and the other near "Jardim do Morro" and the Port Wine Cellars.     Learn how to make the famous "Pastel de Nata" from scratch, including the dough, so that you can return home and enjoy the traditional Portuguese pastries made by you. While learning how to bake traditional pastries, you can taste a regional wine and learn about Portuguese culture and history. Once ready, it's time to enjoy the learning results with some warm pastries! In this experience, the host will give participants the opportunity to alternately participate in the different phases of making the pastel de nata. Groups can have up to 12 participants. - This is a group activity, not an individual or paired activity. If you want full participation, you must book a private lesson. - The tour starts at the scheduled time, with no exceptions and for logistical reasons it is not possible to join once it has started. - This is a group workshop for adults, not children. Children under 15 are not allowed to join for logistical and safety reasons. Children between 15 and 17 can only participate if accompanied by an adult. - Only participants with a reservation can enter the space, companions are not allowed, regardless of age.

Meeting point

The closest metro stop is "São Bento" and it is the best way to get to us, as UBERS and Taxis are constantly stuck in traffic. It's mandatory to arrive before the class starts because it's not possible to enter after the workshop has started.
