Origins of Civilization: Caral & Coastal Peru Expedition (2 Days)

On Day 1, depart Lima at 6:00 AM and travel north to the impressive Ciudad Sagrada de Caral, the oldest known civilization in the Americas. After a guided visit through its pyramids and ceremonial spaces, continue to Peñico for a quieter, off-the-beaten-path experience. In the afternoon, head to Huacho for an overnight stay at Hotel La Empedrada, with free time to relax by the coast. On Day 2, visit the coastal archaeological site of Bandurria, known for its ancient structures and scenic views over the Paraíso lagoon. After lunch in Huacho (not included), return to Lima in the afternoon, arriving around 5:30–6:00 PM.
