Naples Private Vesuvius Trek, Fire and Wine Adventure

What makes this program unique is that it includes access to the full cone of the Vesuvius with a specialized volcanic guide. The day begins with the climb of the volcano at 9 am. The trekking route of light-medium difficulty involves a difference in altitude of approximately 800 meters for a total of roughly 5 km. During this journey, topics of volcanology and history will be explained and addressed, it will be explained from the point of view of a volcanologist, how Vesuvius was formed, how it covered Pompeii and Herculaneum, but above all the minerals and soils of past eruptions will be touched. Guests will be able to get close to the caldarole, heat points, and reach the highest point of the cone, and then climb back down. Once back, a sommelier from NWT will be waiting for them to take them to the winery only 15 min drive away, and start the wine tour followed by an educational wine tasting with a full farm-to-table low or no-carb lunch, supported with a PP presentation
