Ostia Antica è un grande sito archeologico, vicino alla moderna città di Ostia, una città portuale situata a 25 km a sud-ovest di Roma. Ostia Antica divenne il principale porto marittimo di Roma durante la Repubblica Romana (509 a.C.- 27 a.C.) e la città fu in gran parte migliorata da Giulio Cesare e Tiberio durante l'impero romano.
