Description

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at our private pottery lab in Ischia. You'll be guided by our master ceramicist, who will reveal the secrets of ceramics, from its rich history on the island to the techniques, colors, and forms that date back to ancient Greece. Three hours full of things to learn and to do, so get ready to get your hands dirty! In the first half of the workshop you will be able to experience clay modelling and the Colombino technique while in the second half you can try to decorate a glazed majolica tile. You will be able to see the whole process from the beginning to the end. At the end of the work shop you will have finished two pieces, a clay object and a tile. Both will need to dry first and then be baked, this process might take up to 2/4 weeks. Please note that there is an additional fee if you choose to have your souvenir shipped in your home country. Shipping to the USA is currently unavailable.

Un’esperienza strepitosa per chi vuole imparare le tecniche di base del mondo della ceramica. Passeremo attraverso l'intero processo di realizzazione di oggetti in ceramica, dalla modellazione dell'argilla alla smaltatura e decorazione. Questa è un'esperienza per piccoli gruppi fino a 6 persone.

Meeting point

Il Lab si trova nel comune di Casamicciola Terme ed è sulla strada principale che fa il giro dell'isola. Gli autobus CS e CD vi porteranno alla fermata Madonnina, scendete qui e camminate per 3 minuti. Abbiamo un piccolo parcheggio quindi se venite in macchina parcheggiatela qui.
