Day Trip: Truffle Hunting With Lunch + Oil Mill Visit With Tasting

Thanks to this day trip, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the Umbrian food and wine traditions. In the morning, together with the truffle hunter and his truffle hound, you'll learn everything regarding the truffle: the different types of truffle, the seasons in which they grow, their cultivation, their value, the tools needed to take them out of the ground, and much more about this ancient Umbrian tradition. At the end, enjoy a delicious tasting of truffle and other typical products - wine included. In the afternoon, you'll visit a renowned oil mill and winery in Montefalco and there, you'll have an interesting guided tour in which you'll learn all the details regarding the Umbrian production of olive oil and its wine traditions, followed by a tasting of their products. NB: The truffle hunting experience and the visit to the oil mill take place at different places.
