The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears. - Bedouin Proverb In traditional Bedouin communities, children learned to ride before they could walk and horses were considered an essential part of life. As the world turns to computers and cars, a dedicated family of Bedouin horsemen are working hard to keep their traditions alive. Mountain Horse Stables is home to award winning marathon (endurance) horses as well as many rescued happy trail horses. In addition to training and breeding, the stable does on-site equine rehabilitation. Our rehabilitated horses are returned to their (now educated) owners or kept to lead a life of pampered luxury as one of our trail horses. We are licensed by the Petra Development and Tourism Authority and local Bedouin owned and operated.
