Description

The Rucu Pichincha is located west of the city of Quito, in the western Andes. We will start our tour at 9:30am to enter the cable car and ascend to 4.050msnm. where our route to the summit will begin, during this journey of approximately 3-4 hours we can enjoy the beautiful Andean landscape, its mountains and moors, as well as a panoramic view of the city of Quito. The journey is physically a bit demanding due to the altitude and the ascent that is made from the starting point, it requires suitable shoes for trekking, clothes for the cold (waterproof jacket, buff or scarf, gloves and hat, also a jacket warm), sunscreen. Upon reaching the summit we will enjoy the magnificent view that the place offers, here we will stay a few minutes before starting with the descent. Important: If there is bad weather the tour is cancelled for everyone's safety.

Il Rucu Pichincha si trova a ovest della città di Quito, nella catena montuosa occidentale delle Ande. Inizieremo il nostro tour alle 9:30 per entrare nella funivia e salire a 4.050 m.s.l.m. dove inizieremo il nostro percorso verso la vetta; durante questo viaggio di circa 3-4 ore potremo godere del bellissimo paesaggio andino, delle sue montagne e delle sue brughiere, oltre che di una vista panoramica della città di Quito. Il percorso è fisicamente impegnativo a causa dell'altitudine e della salita. Arrivati in cima, godremo della magnifica vista che ci offre il luogo, dove resteremo per qualche minuto prima di iniziare la discesa. Importante: In caso di maltempo, il tour sarà annullato per la sicurezza di tutti.
