Description
Do you wish to hike to the tallest waterfall in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a height of 98 meters and have a picnic lunch with an unforgettable view? If so, this tour is perfect for you! From the starting point of the hike, there is around 5 kilometers of slightly downhill terrain which is going to Skakavac waterfall. When we reach the waterfall, we will have our picnic lunch there. After lunch, we will take a different uphill trail which is going to show us a different view of the waterfall, from the top side. That trail is approximately 3 kilometers long. After we have enjoyed the view, we will walk for another 2 kilometers on flat gravel, back to our starting point.

La cascata di Skakavac si trova a 15 chilometri da Sarajevo, nella parte sud-occidentale del monte Ozren, a sud-est del picco Bukovik, a 1.532 metri sopra il livello del mare. La sua altezza è di 98 m. Nel 2002, la cascata di Skakavac con i suoi dintorni è dichiarata dal Cantone di Sarajevo come monumento della natura.
