Pur essendo molto piccola, ha una meritata reputazione per i suoi ristoranti di pesce alla griglia, il vino Txakoli e i suoi due figli illustri: il famoso stilista di moda Cristobal Balenciaga e Juan Sebastián Elcano, il primo uomo a circumnavigare la terra. Prima di tornare visiteremo i vasti campi verdi pieni di vigneti del vino bianco locale, Txakoli, che si affaccia sul mare.
