   To continue with the tour we will visit the pink lake or lagoon of "Las Coloradas". The water and the surrounding environment are incredibly salty, attracting brine shrimp, plankton, and red algae. As the water evaporates in the sunlight, these organisms become more concentrated and eventually create the famous bright pink water. Because the salt we consume is processed there, it is forbidden to enter the water but you can take a tour around the lake and take incredible pictures. (Entrance fee not included but optional). Cenote Hubiku, has the meaning "the great lord" or "nest of the iguanas." It is a young semi-open cenote, since you can see that on the surface it has an opening at the top small but enough for the sun's rays to enter and make the water have incredible sparkles, allowing it to show its charms, showing off the blue color of the water.
