Description

We will begin early in the morning with the pickup at your hotel in Cusco. The vehicle will take us by Izcuchaca and Limatambo towns to enter to the Salkantay Route and get to the point where we will begin the trek. We will walk 1 km (0.6 miles) until arriving to the Soraypampa campsite, at 12,795 feet of altitude, where we will have breakfast. After that, we will begin the ascending trek for 1 and a half hours until reaching the Humantay Lagoon, located at 13,451 feet of altitude. Here we will be able to see the color variation, depending on the perspective that gives us the point where we will be located, besides the glacier as background that goes to the lagoon, if the weather allows it. After taking pictures and resting from walking at that altitude, we will go back to the campsite, where we will have lunch. Then, we will walk to our vehicle to return to downtown Cusco, where our tour ends.

Inizieremo la mattina presto con il prelievo dal tuo hotel a Cusco. Il veicolo ci porterà dalle città di Izcuchaca e Limatambo per accedere alla rotta Salkantay e raggiungere il punto in cui inizieremo il trekking. Cammineremo per 1 km (0,6 miglia) fino ad arrivare al campeggio Soraypampa, a 12.795 piedi di altitudine, dove faremo colazione. Dopodiché, inizieremo il trekking in salita per 1 ora e mezza fino a raggiungere la Laguna di Humantay, situata a 13.451 piedi di altitudine. Qui saremo in grado di vedere la variazione di colore, a seconda della prospettiva che ci dà il punto in cui ci troveremo, oltre al ghiacciaio come sfondo che va alla laguna, se il tempo lo consente. Dopo aver scattato delle foto e aver riposato camminando a quell'altitudine, torneremo al campeggio, dove pranzeremo. Quindi, cammineremo verso il nostro veicolo per tornare al centro di Cusco, dove termina il nostro tour.
