On leaving the harbour, we are met with Rotten Island lighthouse which was constructed in 1838. It is still functional & extremely important to all vessel entering & departing the port.

We will then travel west along the rugged Donegal coast which shows its beauty from centuries of Atlantic storms showing their strength, firstly passing Drumanoo Head.

- WHERE DO YOU PARK? There is plenty of parking along the shore. There is a free car park beside the Ahoy Cafe just opposite where the boat is tied up. The muster point is at the head of the breakwater on the Small Craft Harbour, but we ask that passengers kindly do not park here as the pier is very busy with new boats being built.
