Description

Enjoy Japanese cultural lesson in 300-year old temple in Miyajima. We are located just about 5min walk from the ferry port, yet a little off from busy tourist spot. You can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the temple. We start the lessons with dressing you up with kimono. Tea ceremony is conducted by our tea master in authentic tea room. We will guide you through the ceremony so that you will know what is going on. Taste sweet and matcha tea with proper manner. When the tea ceremony is done, now it is your part to make your own tea. Calligraphy has imported to Japan during 6C from China. Learn to draw the line with brush. Check the sample carefully to copy the Chinese character. Write your letter and name on the rice scoop. Rice scoop(shamoji) is lucky item in Miyajima. Make original amulet just for you. Choose amulet case and string of your liking. Write or stamp the wish to mini rice scoop. Put everything together to make amulet.

Il tempio è stato fondato circa 300 anni fa. Il Buddha principale è chiamato "Kinseki jizo" che fornisce la protezione per i bambini e la gravidanza. "Kinseki-jizo" ha una vecchia storia sulla vecchia coppia che desiderava un bambino e pregava Jizo. Hanno un ragazzo sano. Sono così grati di aver costruito il tempio. Il tempio appartiene alla setta Soto-syu. A Miyajima tutto il tempio appartiene in qualche modo allo shirine di Itukushima, quindi puoi vedere alcune cose che dovrebbero appartenere al santuario shintoista.

Dal porto dei traghetti di Miyajima, attraversare l'area pubblica. Troverete il segno Lawson e rosso di "okeiko Japan" Attraversare il vicolo accanto a Lawson, attraversare il tunnel e girare a sinistra. Troverete un altro cartello alla fine della strada. Girare a destra e presto a sinistra. Entra nel tempio.
