4 Days Mikumi National Park & Udzungwa From Dar es salaam / Zanzibar

The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a sumptuous forested reserve, a rare tropical forest that is home to a realm of unique plants, birds and animals & the sacred preserve of hikers and walkers. These forests are remarkably unspoiled, a wilderness of extremely beautiful woodland routes – with no driving tracks at all, brings walkers to the spectacular 170 m drop of Sanje Waterfalls. The park is a home of an important population of primates (10 species- more than in any of Tanzania’s other parks) as well as the grey faced sengi. Mikumi’s landscape provides a serene wildlife experience, commonly seen animals Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, Eland, Crocodile, Hippo, Baboon. If luck is in your favor, you won’t miss to see Lions & ultimately the Leopard. Mikumi inhabits over 300 species of birds namely saddle bill stork, hammer kop, malachite kingfisher, lilac breasted roller, yellow throated long claw, battler eagle etc.
