Vertrek om 09:00 uur vanaf het Petruzzelli-theater in Bari naar Castel de Monte, op ongeveer een uur rijden. Dit iconische achthoekige kasteel, gebouwd door keizer Frederik II, ligt op een heuvel in het Alta Murgia National Park op 540 meter boven zeeniveau.
