Located right next to Frenchmen Street, where our best music clubs are, we will orient you to the city and to the deep history that will give to the context to make the rest of the stories you hear make sense. And a great place to bike a practice lap if it's been awhile.

The Marigny is the oldest of the 'suburbs' surrounding the French Quarter, and we get the feeling from the streets and people as we bike slowly through the quiet streets. Dating back 200 years with architecture and vibes that try to remain the same despite the modern world coming at us, this is where the people who play your music and cook your great food live. A very local area that all are welcome in.

We will see the spot of the nation changing Plessy vs Ferguson case, the levee wall and Missisppi River, and examples of local art and spots where our favorite music comes from. These neighborhoods are all changing before our eyes, we embrace both the past and present with y'all, because both are pretty amazing.

A great place to enjoy the outdoor tables along the old street and ask anything still on your mind while enjoying a drink, or not...whatever you like. We have the music schedules handy and all the food recommendations you can swallow. Conversations with everyone at Marie's is how we live, if you like us you will love this spot. Drink not included in the price of the tour. If there are children on the tour we may stop at a different place, but fear not, it's all awesome.
