For those wanting to explore the township, there is a boutique and eclectic mix of local shopping for you to enjoy. Guests are also free to join a leisurely stroll along the Kaikōura Peninsula to spot local wildlife (including New Zealand Fur Seals, various seabirds, and even the occasional dolphin pod if you are lucky!), who call this rugged, yet beautiful coastline home. Other options offered include Mangamaunu Bay - a popular surfing spot with stunning views out to the Pacific Ocean. Alternatively, we can arrange whale watching (either by boat or air), dolphin watching, or kayak and eco-zip experiences for you and your group (booked and sold separately).
