Embark on a thrilling wilderness adventure into YALA National Park, home to the world's most concentrated population of leopards! Sri Lankan leopard is a leopard subspecies native to Sri Lanka. YALA boasts approximately a hundred individual leopards. We aim to be in the YALA National Park in the first two hours of the day (6 to 8 a.m.) and/ or the last two hours of the day (4 to 6 p.m.). In the vernacular of wildlife enthusiasts, this is called "Golden Hours" which gives you the highest chance of spotting the elusive Sri Lankan leopards. Accordingly, we have planned 4 separate safari options for you to choose from. - Morning - Afternoon - 7-Hours - Full-day Within these tours to YALA, we will be able to give you opportunity to witness Sloth Bear, Elephants, Crocodiles, Monkeys, Spotted Dears, Mongoose, Birds and a plethora of other mesmerizing species. With every moment promising an unforgettable encounter, YALA offers a sanctuary where the extraordinary becomes the norm.

Minimum 2 person need for the booking, or the single person can book for the price of two
Our driver/s will pick you up from the hotels in and around the Tissamaharama/ Kataragama/ Kirinda/ Weerawila/ Palatupana/ Yodha Kandiya area. They will pick you up for the 5-hours morning safari, 7-hours morning safaris or full-day safari at around 5.00 a.m. They will pick you up at around 2.00 p.m. for the Afternoon safari. The time will be slightly adjusted depending on the location of your hotel and the locations of other guests' hotels who are going to SHARE the safari with you. Sometimes, management of the hotels assign a location within the hotel premises other than the lobby area, for guests to be picked up by the drivers. Please communicate beforehand with the hotel staff and get to know the location, if not, the driver and you will be waiting for each other in two different locations. Be at the specific place on time and you will meet our driver. If you are travelling from a city outside our pick-up area to join the safari, come to the Ajith Safari Jeep Tours office at around 5.00 a.m. or 2.00 p.m. accordingly.
