- Know Before You Go Important Information • Bring along your passport, ID, & valid visa. • Click here to know more about the train routes. • This pass is valid only for non-Japanese passport holders, with a visa stamp saying 'Temporary Visitor' on the passport that you can secure at immigration. • An adult or child rail pass holder can be accompanied by up to 2 infants (1-5 years old) free of cost, with a child pass required from every third infant. • The 6 reserved seating options are available for Shinkansen (Mihara - Hakata) and express trains.
