See the mighty medieval castles - the area has the highest density of such buildings in Europe. Enjoy an entertaining lesson in the history of wine growing of the valley dating back to ancient Roman times along with some small tastes of local wines. One of the top highlights is the river cruise on one of the traditional Rhine steamers. Dinner in a beautiful restaurant right at the riverside. Ride back to Frankfurt.
