You'll meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at the M
You'll meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at the Marseille cruise pier. He will drive you in a comfortable & A/C minivan accommodating up to 8 people. You'll visit 2 wineries along the day, go behind the scenes to learn all about the wine making process while visiting the aging rooms. Your guide will explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the "terroir" but also the picking, the pruning, green harvesting...in a relaxed and educational way. You'll taste some of the finest Rosés powerful and well-balanced reds, and also aromatic and lively whites. Your guide will teach you how to taste like a pro You will get about 2h free time to lunch and visit in one of the most beautiful towns/ cities of the area: the charming little port of Cassis, or the picturesque village of Lourmarin or the lively and elegant city of Aix en Provence. You'll be back to Marseille Cruise Port around 4/4.30pm ( other return time possible - to be defined with you after your booking).

- Don't forget to bring appropriate shoes, sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen...) and a water bottle
- Departure Point: At Marseille Cruise Pier, where your cruise ship will dock. When you'll go out the cruise ship, you'll see several guides holding signs. About 5 minutes before the wine tour departure time, look for someone holding a "Provence Wine Tour" sign. Address: We can not provide any precise adress as it will depend on where your cruise ship will dock on that day. (There are several location possible in the large Marseille Cruise Port). However, we are in contact with the Port authorities and we will make sure to come to the dedicated pier where your ship will dock on that day. As we tailor the tour to your cruise ship's docking schedule, please make sure to check your Viator messages and email for your confirmed pickup time and meeting point details.
