This tour is very interesting and exciting. It takes you along a scenic portion of the river. Your Raft Captain does not only pilot the raft but he is a performer in his own rights. He displays and teaches the latest reggae dance moves. He is very knowledgeable about the many trees and shrubs along the river banks. He explains their local medicinal, domestic and industrial usages. The local Fisher folks provide fresh catch to the restaurants and passersby. The clarity of the river is generally very good so you get to see different types of fishes and elusive indigenous birds along the banks. This tour gives you a chance to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature while getting a feel of the " Island Life". You can also get a soothing therapeutic limestone leg massage if you desire.

Climb aboard a bamboo raft that glides gently down the smooth waters of the river. The skilled rafts man displays agility as he guides his raft expertly along the current flow. His precious cargo onboard having the time of their lives while sipping water coconuts if desired. It creates one of those feelings you don’t want to end. Your next stop is at a private beach where you can take some pictures for about 5 - 10 mins. This activity also provides the females with a complimentary limestone leg massage. The gents are given a cold Redstripe Beer which is the favorite Jamaican Beer.

Your Tour Guide will be right at The Island Village Main Entrance where The Turtle River Road intersects with the Ocho Rios Main Road. He/She will be wearing a white top with a dark coloured bottom and holding up a sign board saying. . . .

We will be in the vicinity of the meeting point by the Island Village Main Entrance, where the Turtle Beach Road intersect the Ocho Rios Main Street by the Harbour Shop. At times we will be assisting with the holding up of the sign board. As soon as a traveler recognize the sign board, they come to us and we take them aside to a designated holding area a few feet away. I will either be by the holding area or by the sign. I will also have proper identification suspending around my neck and wearing white top and dark coloured bottom.
