L’antica Ercolano fu sepolta durante l’eruzione del Vesuvio del 79 dC e si presenta come un vero e proprio luogo della memoria: seppur meno ampia della vicina Pompei, a differenza di quest’ultima reca ancora la maggior parte della sua struttura urbanistica e civile. Sono ancora perfettamente visibili case, porte e stanze da letto, botteghe e oggetti di qualsiasi tipo. Passeggiare lungo le strade lastricate insieme alla vostra guida sarà un’esperienza unica: vi immergerete nella vita quotidiana dell’antica civiltà ercolanense. Entrerete nelle loro case, con ancora immutati i caldi colori degli affreschi; visiterete il gymnasium e le terme, dove gli antichi si riunivano per parlare di tutto, persino di politica ed affari.
