Abfahrt um 09:00 Uhr vom Petruzzelli-Theater in Bari zum Castel del Monte, etwa eine Autostunde entfernt. Dieses ikonische achteckige Schloss, das von Kaiser Friedrich II. erbaut wurde, liegt auf einem Hügel im Nationalpark Alta Murgia auf 540 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe fasziniert es Besucher mit seiner mittelalterlichen Architektur, Kunst und Legenden. Der nächste Halt ist Trani, nur 30 Minuten entfernt. Trani ist für seinen eleganten Charme bekannt, eine Stadt aus weißem Stein und reich an Geschichte, die möglicherweise in der Zeit des Äneas gegründet wurde. Die Altstadt umgibt den Hafen, wo die große Kathedrale wie ein majestätisches Schiff über dem Meer thront und ihr deshalb der Titel „Königin der apulischen Kathedralen“ verliehen wird. Genießen Sie eine Stunde Freizeit zum Mittagessen oder Einkaufen. Rückkehr nach Bari um 15:00 Uhr, Ankunft nach etwa einer Stunde.
