For the ultimate thrill, we highly recommend the 30-minute boat ride out to the reef break. It is an incredible experience even if you’ve never picked up a surfboard and is something you’ll never forget. Big or small waves, the site is specactular The Tahiti surf season runs from April to October, and boat trips are available whenever conditions are right. Sometimes out of season we get lucky! Whether you're there to see the pro-level swells or just to soak in the emerald cliffs and turquoise water, Teahupo’o is a must-visit for the authentic soul of the island. The boat trip is optional. PRO tip: The optional boat excursion is 3,000 XPF (or $30 USD) per person. Please bring cash, as this is paid directly to the boat captain and is not included in your tour price.
