   Next, head to Hoi An old town. Visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House that has withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all around the world. Then, enter the Museum to witness a display of artifacts depicting ancient local daily life over 2 floors of a 150-year-old Chinese merchant house. Watch live demonstrations illustrating the values of Hoi An’s folk art (temporarily closed starting August 1, 2026). Stop at the Japanese Bridge that was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water.
