Frida e Diego: The Last Dream celebra Frida Kahlo e Diego Rivera, due delle icone più amate dell'arte messicana del XX secolo, in una collaborazione unica nel suo genere con il Metropolitan Opera. Presentata in concomitanza con la nuova produzione del Met di El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego (14 maggio - 5 giugno 2026), composta da Gabriela Lena Frank su libretto di Nilo Cruz, la mostra presenta opere d'arte di Kahlo e Rivera in un'elaborata installazione progettata da Jon Bausor, scenografo e co-costumista dell'opera.
