   And now, the famous gorge — Saklikent! Saklikent Gorge is the second longest canyon in Europe. But be warned before stepping into the water — it’s icy cold! You can jump in and explore the canyon on your own or with a private guide. Or, if the water is too cold for you, simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere at one of the riverside cafés with a hot tea or coffee. Okay… a cold beer sounds great too! After exploring Saklikent Gorge, we’ll head to our restaurant located just 5 minutes away from the canyon for a delicious lunch. Once we’ve enjoyed our meal, we’ll continue on to Yaka Village for the next part of our journey.

The city is ruined but historian and archaeologist says that the city was one of the most important religious city of Lycia. The settlement of the city is on the hills and its believed in the mythology that Bellerophon lived in Tlos with his flying horse Pegasus and he has a king type tomb in the necropolis dedicated by citizens of Lycia.
